Accounting Manager – Chicago

Position: Accounting Manager
Location: Northern Chicago Suburbs

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join a dynamic and growing educational organization in the northern Chicago suburbs. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the President and COO, contributing directly to the company’s financial operations and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the monthly accounting close process, including preparation of profit and loss statements (P&L).
• Handle payroll, cash management, and financial consolidations.
• Collaborate with an external CPA firm on tax preparation, reconciliations, and other critical financial functions.
• Develop, implement, and refine accounting processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
