Senior Accountant

A growing international medical equipment distribution company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.  Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role interacts closely with sales, operations and corporate management.  Responsibilities include month end financial close, P&L and Balance Sheet production, account reconciliations, inventory reporting, sales reporting, regional payroll and taxes as well as other duties as assigned.  This is a high profile role with tremendous exposure to management and growth potential.  Strong communication skills are a must, as the Controller is overseas.  Initial onboarding includes traveling to the corporate headquarters in Australia.  Offices are the western suburbs of Chicago and can offer hybrid remote/onsite option.
