Interim Controller – Remote

A small and growing software company is seeking an Interim Controller to support the CFO by performing accounts payable and receivable, properly booking revenue recognition for SaaS service contracts, bank reconciliations, journal entries and month end close.  All accounting staff is remote, therefore a candidate with strong organization and communication skills is vital.  This is expected to be a three to four month project.  There is a possibility of long term permanent employment.  Qualified candidates have an accounting degree, a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience and preferably software industry or other similar business with significant revenue recognition requirements.  Experience with Canadian accounting standards is a plus.
